Once on a camping trip, after hours of hiking and climbing through the river in beautiful Lebanon, I had a spiritual experience biting into a fresh cold peach. It was absolutely heavenly, I almost could hear the angels singing.
So it goes without saying that peach has become one of my top 3 fruits. And like everything I love, I buy so much of it and let it stew in the fridge until it’s time to throw it out. But this year, I have decided to consciously avoid food waste, as it has become a worldwide epidemic. For that reason, I decided to turn my brown peaches into an edible matter – PEACH CRISP was the answer!
On this fall day, I researched an easy recipe and came across the one prepared by chef in training Nikky. Tested by no other than the baba and brother themselves – it was a delight.
